Remote Data Devices

How do I get data into BuildingMonitor?

BuildingMonitor exposes open, standard, XML Web Wervices that your application or device can call to push data into the server remotely. Call these Web Service API's directly from your device or application and data will be sent to the server, where it is stored centrally and can be viewd from anywhere.

Are there standard devices or programs I can use to get data into BuildingMonitor?

Yes, BuildingMonitor uses pre-packaged applications using hardware from www.datanab.com to communicate with the server. You can purchase this hardware and start pushing data into the server right away, without having to write your own application code, or implement any Web Services on your controller.

What other technologies do you support?

Since BuildingMonitor uses standard Web Services API's for inserting and manipulating data remotely, any application written in Microsoft Visual Studio.NET can easily push data to the server. Please contact us with specific details of your application. We can assist with writing custom code, or provide programming services to help you complete your projects.
